Our website is now up, and we want you to get involved. So, how can you get involved?
Well, firstly you can share your videos with us! These can be existing videos you have already shot (perhaps old home movies or videos on your YouTube account), or you may want to go out and shoot new videos especially for us – everyone is welcome. We want to see a new vision of Scotland; surprise us, make us laugh, make us cry – let us see Scotland through your eyes.
In the end, what we hope to achieve is a multitude of unique view points on Scotland. And that takes us to the second way you can get involved – by watching the other videos and discussing them. The site is designed to create an ongoing conversation about what you have shared and what you have seen.
Another exciting aspect is that you can vote on the videos submitted; there is even a £10,000 award fund for some of the best submissions.
So get involved; submit, share, watch, and talk. This is only the beginning, this site and the Northern Lights project are going to evolve as a result of what you submit and the conversations you create.
