Northern Lights workshops have already begun in Dumfries & Galloway & The Central Belt and will continue taking place across Scotland throughout the submission period.  These events are a great introduction to the project are open and accessible to all, full of helpful tips on how to shoot your video and offer an opportunity to learn about Northern Lights cash awards and meet the director Nick Higgins.

From the 28th May we are popping up in Aberdeenshire.  So, if your based here now is your chance to get even more involved with Scotland’s first ever mass collaborative documentary film and show us what you can see, what you would like to see and what you wish you had seen in the region.

Everyone is welcome at this free pop-up workshop. Perhaps you are an established filmmaker in the region or a keen amateur who wants to try something new. Come along and meet director Nick Higgins to find out more. Brainstorm ideas and learn about Director’s Requests, which can gain a Co-director credit on the final film!
